Looking heavenward: intro to The Paths of the Lord blog

My faith and my religion are a major of my life, and they influence and inform many other aspects of my life as well. I used to share some of my thoughts, quotations, etc on Social Media, but have decided that I would rather preserve some of those via this medium instead.
As a side note, all photos on this page will be original photos captured by me, and to relate to the theme of otherworldly, abstract, ideal, or heavenly topics, I've decided to use a sky theme.
Why did I choose "Paths of the Lord" for the name of this blog site?
Well, first because all of us are on a journey in life. We all walk different paths. We all have dreams and goals. Regardless of your faith or beliefs, you are on a path, even if are unsure of the destination or unsure of your footing.
My beliefs include an all-knowing, all-powerful being who is interested in my daily life, who I will refer to as God, Lord, Father in Heaven, among other titles. I believe He creates, guides, and gives us paths that we may follow to achieve our greatest potential.
I say 'Paths' plural instead of singular 'Path' because while there are some key elements that differentiate God's way from other routes, we will not all tread the same exact trail. Furthermore, the Lord experienced every trial and temptation, every sorrow and sin, so he has in essence "walked" every path there is.
Finally, it is direct quotation from the Holy Bible, Psalm 25:4-5, 9-10
Show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
I bear personal witness that God is our loving Heavenly Father and He does have a plan for our ultimate joy. I hope you'll join my insights along this journey.

Really helpful insights there. As men we need to introspect and model our lives on the pattern of Jesus Christ's teachings inorder to fulfil out full measure as men of God
