I will be the first to admit it -- I am a waterfall chaser. Anyplace, anywhere, I am on the lookout for waterfalls that I may capture with my camera lens. Something about them captivates me, whether it is the shape, the sound, the power, or the surroundings. I will sit and gaze upon them for as long as time (and children) allow.

Audra State Park

A few of the cascades on The Middle Fork River

Valley Falls State Park

Besides its namesake falls on the Tygart Valley River, there are two smaller cataracts on Glady Creek at the northern boundary of the park. They are seasonal, depending on recent rainfall.

First good view of Upper Glady Falls from the Glady Creek Trail
Upper Glady Falls from just downstream of its plunge pool

Salmon River Mountains of central Idaho

Unnamed cascade just off the road between Warm Lake and Landmark (below Summit Lake area)

Ohiopyle State Park

Ohiopyle Falls (on the Youghiogheny River) from the east side
Ohiopyle Falls (on the Youghiogheny River) from further downstream, near the Visitor Center
Cucumber Falls, traditional view
